Showcasing the DIVIDER startUp
The star of the roadshow is the DIVIDER startUp, a versatile, compact slicer for processed meat, cheese and vegetable products. We chose to highlight this solution due to its flexibility, mobility, small footprint and widespread appeal to a variety of businesses like butchers, commercial kitchens and wholesale suppliers.
The DIVIDER startUp has been loaded onto our newly revamped Marel TREIF MAJA Truck, which is equipped with side unloading for convenient transportation. Junker and Tischler have already begun demonstrating the slicer’s prowess to potential customers.
On-site demos, real-time feedback
As Junker explains, “The beauty of the roadshow is that it allows for on-site demos, so companies can experience how our solutions fit into their existing operations before committing to any purchase.” Trialing equipment at their premises also allows companies to directly compare the performance of our new solutions with their current technology and see the difference in efficiency and end-product quality firsthand.
Meeting our customers where they are
Two of our customers in North Germany, both suppliers to supermarket fresh meat counters, were the first to experience the convenience and hands-on approach of our roadshow. These customers, who specialize in products such as cooked sausages, aspic and smoked and pepper hams, have been considering replacing their old equipment. What better way to decide than to trial the DIVIDER startUp with their own products?

The road ahead
Roadshows are a relatively new adventure for Marel, with our first roadshow taking place in 2021 to 2022. While Germany is the starting point for our cutting solutions roadshow, we aim to expand our horizons to other regions and equipment soon. Our goal is to provide a convenient and personalized shopping experience, while allowing us to engage deeply with customers and truly understand their needs. The insights gleaned from these on-site connections help us to continually improve our offerings, while fostering trusted, long-term partnerships along the way.
