The 17th Salmon ShowHow – engage your senses

Salmon processors from around the world come together at the Salmon ShowHow each year to discuss the latest processing innovations and industry trends, and to experience some of the key technological advances for themselves.

In 2017 the event attracted over 300 visitors representing companies from more than 30 countries.

The program is about much more than discussion though, and invites salmon processors to engage all their senses in a full exploration of salmon processing equipment and software. 

Live demonstrations 

There will be ongoing demonstrations throughout the day for attendees to experience Marel’s industry-leading equipment at close range.

The simulated processing plant environment at our demonstration facility in Copenhagen is ideal for visitors not only to see the latest salmon processing equipment and software, but also to feel the machinery with the smell of freshly produced salmon in the air, as our specialists explain how Marel products can help them raise quality, productivity, yield and throughput.

New 360° experience 

The 2018 event will also offer a new immersive demo experience, inviting attendees to put on a pair of 3D glasses and walk through a modern processing facility for a unique 360° tour of quality salmon production.

Guest speakers

As well as the demonstrations, the showhow is a valuable opportunity for attendees to hear what guest speakers have to say about current technologies and trends. The program will conclude with a dinner in the evening, tasting great food and enjoying some lively entertainment.
