Information
The Vent Opener applies an abdominal cut to the products so that the intestine pack can be drawn out and veterinarian inspection can be performed.
The Vent Opener reliably operates in a way to prevent damage to the intestines. The shackles carefully guide the products in the machine and then the knife can move downwards. It makes a longitudinal cut into the abdominal skin of the duck from the back in the direction of the breast bone. During this operation, absolutely no damage is done to the intestines. A precise vent opening procedure results in a higher quality of the end product.
The length of the opening cut can be adjusted quickly and easily during production allowing a precise opening cut to be made irrespective of product weight or flock variations. Now the product is ready for evisceration.
The machine is suitable for high-capacity evisceration lines and provides excellent access for cleaning and maintenance.
